STORING PEPPERS

Peppers are generally not stored but the following method
will store peppers for two to three weeks. Pick peppers
before frost; wash and sort. Store peppers in a plastic
bag, cut 12 to 15, 1/4 inch holes in the plastic bag.

The storage area should be between 45 and 50 degrees
Fahrenheit. Temperatures below 45 degrees Fahrenheit
will cause chill injury. The plastic bag will maintain
proper humidity.
