STORING CUCUMBERS


  Cucumbers are usually not stored.  They can be held for 10
to 14 days at 45 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit  in high humidity.
Chill injury  will  occur  at lower temperatures.   Do  not 
store cucumbers  with apples or  pears or other fruit which 
produce ethylene.
