DRYING OKRA


  Wash  pods  then  trim  and slice  crosswise into 1/4 inch
disks.  Blanch  in steam for 4 to 5 minutes or in  water for
3 to 4 minutes.   Dry  in a dehydrator is 4 to  6 hours or 6
to 10 hours in an oven.
