This light can also be recharged from your vehicle's lighter socket by using a DC adapter.
Two types of lighting can work at the same time:
Fluorescent and blinking . . . for continuous fluorescent lighting on one side of the lantern and a blinking red light or flashlight beam on the other side.The lantern has a uniquely designed solar panel consisting of 14 pieces of single crystal cells in series with a built-in blocking diode in the circuit to protect against battery discharge when there is no sunlight striking the solar panel.
The lantern has an adjustable stand that allows the solar panel to be angled to directly face the sun for maximum electrical input to the batteries.
Includes: A transparent PVC carrying case provides protection from rain. Four spare light bulbs stored in the spare lamp compartment. An adjustable nylon shoulder strap for carrying convenience.
Charge time: Solar: 8 to 10 hours in full sun. With AC/DC adapter: 5 to 8 hours.
Usage time: Incandescent light: up to 8 hours. Fluorescent light: up to 4 hours. Blinking light: up to 40 hours. Fluorescent & blinking light: up to 3 1/2 hours
The fluorescent tube is easily replaceable and extras may be obtained at most stores that carry lighting equipment.
